Developing a prized terroir amidst the cacao growing regions of Ecuador has been an extensive expedition. Our pursuit for sustainability has brought us to the forefront, as we combat against the conventional approaches taken in cacao production globally. One that is unsustainable and promotes exploitation towards both land and humans alike; employed by many who desire only to make ordinary chocolate.

However, it's often disregarded that each cacao holds individuality due to their roots making them extraordinary indeed. The terroir of cacao, a trajectory that we have been working on to cultivate the best cacao from signature origins of terroir within Ecuador.

That is why in 2024, we shall commence a thrilling expedition to explore our three signature Terroirs in the regions of NAPO, MACHE CHINDUL and QUININDÉ. This journey will uncover the enchantment that is tucked away in every corner of these exceptional lands and communities. As our voyage unfolds into an authentic adventure, we are fully committed share what it takes to crafting chocolates that capture the distinctive character of each terroir.

Each region holds a world of its own to explore - from the vivacious lands once submerged beneath ancient oceans in NAPO, now requiring attentive maintenance due to their distinctive geography; to the enigmatic cloud forests of MACHE CHINDUL, serving as a nature sanctuary and jungle necessitating our farmers' utmost proficiency; and QUININDÉ, an idyllic haven boasting rich foliage that yields an extensive range of native/exotic fruits. These diverse landscapes offer botanical wonders waiting for your discovery.

As we embark on our chocolate adventure, our goal is to blend the richness of these areas with our devotion to producing outstanding chocolates.
